 This is an open call for volunteer assistance in the making of a stop motion animation movie at 1943 SE Sixth Aveue on Friday September 12th from 10am to 8pm.  (Shooting will take place in and around the &lt;a href="http://www.meetgoodwill.org/"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Goodwill Super Store&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;).  Assistants will be assigned work on a first come basis and tasks will range from creating Foley and speaking dialogue to moving characters in the set and assisting in set/character creation.  (Some assistants may be asked to get us coffee or lunch).  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This project is part of the TBA festival and will have a screening and reception the following evening, Saturday September 13th, 9pm, at &lt;a href="http://noshonseventh.com/"&gt;Nosh&lt;/a&gt;, 2030 SE 7th Ave Portland, OR 97214 (503) 239-6674. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All participants will be acknowledged by name and neighborhood in the movie credits. (VLW &amp; JL)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Expanding on a past project where she unofficially designated herself as Artist in Residence at the &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Goodwill Super Store&lt;/span&gt; in SE Portland, &lt;a href="http://lorol.blogspot.com"&gt;Laurel Kurtz&lt;/a&gt; is coordinating a project administered by the &lt;a href="http://community.livejournal.com/oo_inclusion/"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Office of Inclusion&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://web.me.com/sandysampson/Parallel_University/Welcome.html"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Parallel University&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; for &lt;a href="http://www.pica.org/tba/tba08/default.aspx"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;PICA’s Time Based Art Festival’s&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; &lt;a href="http://lotofprojects.blogspot.com/"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Neighborhood Projects&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; where she has unofficially officially appointed &lt;a href="http://vickilynnwilson.net/"&gt;Vicki Lynn Wilson&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://johnlarsen.net/"&gt;John larsen&lt;/a&gt; as Artists in Residence in the same locale. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt; Vicki Lynn Wilson and John Larsen have proposed:&lt;/b&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Using only a laptop, camera, and materials and sounds that can be found at the &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Goodwill Super Store&lt;/span&gt; on 1943 SE Sixth Avenue,  Vicki Lynn Wilson and John Larsen will create a stop motion animation of approximately 4 minutes.  The following evening they will have a reception and screening of the animation projected on a wall at &lt;a href="http://noshonseventh.com/"&gt;Nosh&lt;/a&gt;, which is one block from the Goodwill site.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On Friday, September 12, they will arrive at the &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Goodwill Super Store&lt;/span&gt; with a camera and laptop and a canopied pick-up truck (please see below).  They intend to shoot the stop motion frames on sets constructed from materials from the Goodwill.  They will shoot the frames in the canopied pick-up truck in the parking lot of the Goodwill.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They will collect Foley sounds and dialogue from the Goodwill materials as well as from participating store patrons.  An advertisement will be circulated encouraging people who may be stopping by the Goodwill that day to engage in their production as a grip, best boy, Foley or assistant to the creative directors.  All participants will be acknowledged with their name and neighborhood in the credits of the movie.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On Saturday they will continue editing the movie off-site. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;About the canopied truck:  This truck is a traveling gallery called the &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Bernadette Gallery&lt;/span&gt;, owned and operated by Vicki Wilson.
